Thank you for your interest in the 2025 Denton County A&M Club Scholarship Program! The Denton County A&M Club funds scholarships annually through contributions, membership dues, and fund-raisers. Our scholarship program is the centerpiece of what the Club provides to the community and our support of Texas A&M University. Each year, we support a group of distinguished young individuals that are committed to attend Texas A&M and represent the best and brightest from Denton County through financial scholarships.

Complete instructions and qualifications are enumerated in the scholarship application package available on this page. Please read these carefully, as applications that do not meet these qualifications are automatically disqualified.
Be an incoming freshman (Fall 2024) to the TAMU College Station campus
Parents/guardians/applicants MUST live and have a permanent address in Denton County. Please verify your address by visiting the DCAD link that is in the application.
Be a graduate of a Denton County High School
Please read the application carefully – as some Denton County high schools serve students from more than Denton County.
You MUST meet BOTH criteria of having a permanent address and be a graduate of a Denton County high school to be considered for this scholarship.
Have been ACCEPTED to Texas A&M University College Station for the upcoming fall (2024) semester. You will be issued a University Identification Number, or UIN, when you have been accepted.
Complete and submit the application by the deadline outlined on the application.
2024 Application Deadline: The application is due at 5:00 PM on Friday, March 15, 2024. At 5:00 PM, the application is turned off and submissions will no longer be accepted.
In considering the awarding of the application, we weight your application as follows:
Financial need
High school grades and college entrance exams
Extracurricular activities, community involvement, leadership opportunities and work experience
Essays, and letters of recommendation from appropriate people

Winners will be determined without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin or educationally unrelated handicaps. Each recipient will receive a one time $1,500 award in their incoming Fall Semester.
